Doing skincare has become a very dear form of self-care for me, and I am always exploring different products to try out!
I don't have any skin concerns except for some open pores due to my combi skin type + always looking like I'm blushing (it's unwelcomed).
So, my routine mainly focuses on covering up those pores and redness to even out my skin tone, and of course maintaining my skin.
My routine isn't very thorough compared to others though, since I'm afraid of drying out my face by overdoing it...
As a starter, in my opinion the most important product you can have for skincare, regardless of your skin typing or condition, is water.
I do not think the importance of staying hydrated is brought up enough. Lack of hydration in the body is first apparent through your lips and then your skin. The easily most important and easiest thing you can do to liven up your face is by drinking lots of water!!
Innisfree Sea Salt Whipping Cleanser 30%
This has been my go-to cleanser for a year now. It takes lovely care of my combo-type skin, and there's actually different percentages of sea salt (20% and 40%) depending on your skin type.
While it has plenty of natural ingredients it actually has fragrance in it. The smell is a refreshing sea scent and it does stay on your face, so I'm not complaining.
Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water
I actually found this toner disposed along with other skincare products, it was used only a little so I took it back home. It surprisingly turned out to suit my skin well. It is a very gentle exfoliating toner and while I'm not a fan of acid toners, this one has not caused any drying or breaking out and has helped my pore issues. Some online reviews commented it also helps acne, so I think it is a lovely toner overall!
Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Scrub Foam
The only exfoliator I have tried that does not leave my t-zone a greasy mess, I think that alone speaks volumes for itself. It also leaves my face feeling very clean.
UV Aqua White Moisturiser
Sunplay Skin Aqua Tone Up UV Essence
It is really really great to use! It evens out my skin tone very nicely and makes my skin feel smooth all while also providing extremely high protection from UV rays (SPF50+ & PA+++). It leaves an unpleasant white cast if you do not have skin with a yellow cast, though.
